I am a newer Porcupine Tree fan discovered them on music lab xm channel 150, oh how I miss that channel. I saw them at the Warfield in San Francisco last year and it was incredible. Do you think they will change the setlist for this new tour coming to the states? I am going to the Warfield again looks like it's just them no opening act. Going to be a busy week seeing Rush 2 days before Porcupine Tree.

Hello, jpogue and welcome to the forum! :welcome1:

I was at last year's Warfield show and will be there next month as well, (Rush, too!!) Info on a pre-show meet-up can be found on this thread: LINK I hope you can make it!!

Regarding the setlist, I seem to recall hearing SW say that they won't be doing the full Incident on this part of the tour. However, since the SF show is not with C & C, perhaps they will, as they will be doing a longer set. I only know I'll be looking forward to whatever they play, regardless.

:hazzz:

:welcome: jpogue. I was also among those who saw PT last September in SF. I was hoping to make it for the show this August but things don't seem to be working out, airfare wise.

TJ, I know the feeling. I'd love to go to the San Antonio gig, but I just can't rationalize spending $$ on the airfare for a one hr PT set w/C&C closing. I realize the SF show will be all PT, and that would certianly make a diff in my case, but still, 10 days b/f NYC, again in my case, it's just not feasible. We all know you'd be there in a heartbeat if it were reasonable to fly from STL to SF. Damn airlines!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I will try and make the meet up in SF for the Warfield show. Is there a meet up for the Rush shaow at the shoreline?

You know what? No, no plans that I am aware of yet. I'm sure something will be arranged at some point, as there are several of us going to this show, too.

But...SF is Aug. 11th, and NYC is Sept 24th! It's the Boston Rush show that's on September 14th--and no airfare involved for you, so...will I see you there? :)
And now that you know there's over a month between the SF & NYC shows...how about it? It's gonna' rock! :hazzzzz:

...plus if you order a deluxe edition ticket, you get a cloth bound hardback book featuring disturbing pencil sketches of planes crashing.

(I have a feeling we can go on for a while with this one...)

All while singing,
"Well I could be boarding an aircraft
With a bomb concealed in somebody's briefcase
And my body will spread through the heavens, across the sky.
And my ashes will fall through the cloudburst!"
