PTreeTour Forum Rules and Guidelines:
Rule #1 - No personal attacks.
Rule #2 - Treat everyone on the board with respect -- the same respect you'd like in return.
Rule #2A - If you are the sort of person who claims not to require respect, you are still required to treat people with the same respect that ordinary, reasonable people expect.
Rule #3 - This is an R rated message board, when it comes to language. You want to write "fuck" -- then go right ahead. You want to write "fuck you" -- then you are in the wrong place.
Rule #3A - This may be an R rated message board, but no nudity is allowed in posts. You want to post naked, we can't see you, and probably don't want to. But don't upload nudie pics.
Rule #3B - This may be an R rated message board, but violence and threats of violence are not permitted. No one is putting a cap in anyone's ass -- and you will be suspended or banned.
Rule #4 - We all have our political and religious views, and that's cool. While you don't have to keep them a secret, you probably should not use this board to try to convince anyone to adopt your point of view, or use it to explain why their point of view will cause the country to collapse and their soul to perish. We aren't here to be saved or to save you.
Rule #5 - No whining about the rules. You don't have first amendment rights here. If you think you do, you need to go back to school. Congress doesn't make these rules -- the staff here does.
Rule #6 - We reserve the right to change any rules, and any content at any time without cause.
Rule #7 - We reserve the right to cancel your membership at any time for any reason without cause.
Rule #8 - If your goal here is to see what you can get away with, what you think might be technically not a violation of the letter of the rules, even if it is a violation of the spirit of the rules -- you are in the wrong place, and you won't be allowed to stay here. And if you have that kind of free time and energy, there are soup kitchens that could use your assistance, and your time would be better spent serving your fellow man than being a whiny bitch here.
Rule #9 - If we decide to suspend or ban you due to your conduct, every case will be handled on a case by case basis. While we will strive to be fair and just in how we run this board, because that is the kind of people we are, if you think we haven't been fair and just, sorry, but we just aren't going to belabor the point. Life is too short, and we aren't that interested.
Rule #10 - If your goal here is to hang out and share in the pleasure that is Porcupine Tree, and engage in discussion with other people who share that same interest -- then you've come to the right place. Welcome, and enjoy.
